Obituary of Cory Patrick Gruver
Corey Patrick Gruver, age 44 of Sapphire NC, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021. He was born on January 31, 1977, in Palm Beach, FL, to Lloyd and Patricia (Killough) Gruver.
Corey worked as an electrician and had many interests: sports, playing golf, Nascar, shooting guns, and hunting. He enjoyed unique antique items and hard-to-find novelties. Corey loved to laugh and have fun. He loved his dogs as well.
Corey is survived by his mother, Patricia; son, Damien Finigan; aunt, Linda Killough; friend, Michael Sistare; godson, Gage Sistare; the entire Sistare Family; and many friends & family in the Cashiers-Sylva areas.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Private cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva NC. A Celebration of Corey’s Life will be announced at a later time.
