Obituary of Evelee Wheeler

On July 6, 2021, Evelee met Jesus, her Lord and Savior, at the river where He took her by the hand, and they crossed over Jordan.

Rejoice with her. She lives in Heaven enjoying the reunion with those who preceded her in death. Her loving husband, John; mother, Fannie Cooper; father, George Downey; sisters, Myrle Green, Dorothy Patterson, Martha Queen; son, Ronnie Waldrop; and special grandson, Evan.

Evelee was born on January 22, 1931.   She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Fishersville, VA, whose prayers and support were so kindly offered through troubled times. She is survived by her loving son, Doug Waldrop; grandchildren, Cathy, Thomas, Matthew, and Lynsey; great grandchildren; special friends, Mary Grant, Tierra Howard Berry, Roger Howard, Franklin, Bonita Woodson; and many others.

My mother's loving adopted daughters, Penny Berry, Zsuzsi Juhasz, Linda Burton and I, ask that you not mourn for her. Just start the music, she is dancing with the stars. No more pain, no more suffering. She loves and appreciates her many friends and her Bosom Buddies.
