Obituary of Linda Faye Kilpatrick

Linda Nations Kilpatrick, age 75 of Whittier NC, passed away on Monday July 19, 2021.   She was born on September 23, 1945, in Jackson County, to the late Ralph and Vinnie Jones Nations.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.  She dearly loved her family and loved to spend her time with them.  Linda loved to work and keep busy.  She had a very dedicated work ethic. 

She will be missed by her husband, Carroll; children, Michael Todd (Alicia) Kilpatrick, Dara (Chris) Ernst; Tommy Nations; siblings, Jess (Louise) Nations, Della (Ralph) Owenby, Wanda Crisp, Tommy (Joyce) Nations; grandchildren, Kaelyn (Dalton) Shuler, Kristen Kilpatrick, Payton Kilpatrick, Logan Ernst, Kody Kilpatrick, Preston Ernst; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Clayton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Bill Nations, Dorothy Nations, Jim Nations, Pat Nations, Ann (Roy) Ward; and brother-in-law, Ward Crisp.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Linda’s Life from 2:00PM-4:00PM on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva NC.
