Obituary of Roger Neal Jackson

Roger Neal Jackson, Sr., 78 of Cullowhee, passed away on Wednesday July 21, 2021, at Mission Hospital. He was born on August 12,1942, in Kingston, AL to the late Jasper and Lucille (Wilkerson) Jackson.

Roger loved the Lord and studying his Bible. He especially loved to fish and collect toy antique cars.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Hall); children, Tracy Jones (Hal), Jennifer Nix, Roger Jackson, Jr. (Christina); grandchildren; Melissa Hickman (Kevin), John Ryan Jones, Dustin Wayne Nix (Caitlin), Brandon Michael Nix, Cayla Jackson, Lila Rae Jackson; great-grandchildren; Jada, Ava, Cale, Brantly, Kinsley, and John Henry.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Murray Jackson; and son-in-law, Teddy Nix.

A Celebration of Roger's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the Sylva Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2851 US Highway 441 S,
Sylva, NC 28779-8342.
