Obituary of Howard Russell Frady

Howard (Goob) Frady, age 66, of Cullowhee died Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Skyland Care Center. Mr. Frady was born June 3, 1946 in Jackson County. He is the son of the late Ottis and the late Bonnie (Claybo) Frady. He was preceded in death by a sister Leona Frady. Goob loved the outdoors and spending times in the pines. He loved his dog Tootsie He is survived by a daughter Melissa McCoy of Waynesville; a son Michael Frady of Sneads Ferry, NC; a brother Harold Frady and wife Eloise of Cullowhee; two sisters Carrie Mae Rickman of Sylva and Margaret Whittington of Blairsville, GA; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Jeff Powell officiating.
