Obituary of Tommy Alvin Burrell

Tommy Alvin Burrell, 52, of Sylva, passed away Saturday evening September 11, 2021. A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County he was the son of the late Alvin and Lillian Burrell.

Tommy loved to go bowling, playing softball and just spending time with his family and friends. 

He is survived by his Mom and Dad; Johnny and Wanda Burrell of Sylva

1 Son- Dakota (Shaneace) Burrell of Buckhorn, KY

1 Daughter- Brittany Burrell of Arden, NC

2 Grandchildren- Ryder and Raelynn

Sister- Jennifer Morgan (Jason Messer) of Waynesville

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday September 15, 2021 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Dennis Burrell and Caleb Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Parris Cemetery.
