Obituary of Lynda Tolley

Lynda Mary Ramsey Tolley , age 69 Sylva NC , passed away on Monday, September 13th, 2021. She was born on March 31st, 1952, in Haywood County (lifelong resident of Jackson County), to the late Jess Ramsey and Mary Alice (Parris) Ramsey. 

Lynda enjoyed spending time with her family, loving on her grandbabies, going camping, walks, hiking and loved vacationing at Panama City Beach.  

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Jackie Lee; children, Wendy Laughter, Penny (John) Hinson; siblings, Eleanor Lequire, Joanie (Delbert) Queen, Davey Ramsey; grandchildren, Chaz Hodgins, Jessilyn Jones, Tristen Queen, Jessa (James) Stevens, Alden Brooks, Gage Davis; and 12 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jaclyn Davis; brothers, Ebb Estes, Bud & Michael “Coot” Ramsey; sister, Katie (Roger) Brooks; and brother-in-law, Johnny Lequire.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12 NOON, Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Old Field Cemetery, Old Field Cemetery Rd. Sylva, NC. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY)

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Appalachian Funeral Services.
