Terry Lynn Sams was born to Sonny Woods and Neta Sams (Hendrix) of Woodfin, North Carolina.
Terry married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Wengard of Crossnore, North Carolina (currently of Tennessee). Terry and Nancy had two sons: Michael (Mike) James Sams of Florida and Ronnie (Ron) Lynn Sams of Arizona. Terry is a United States Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Terry and Nancy lived in Spain during his military service.
Terry has two other grandchildren. Mike has a daughter, Journey Sams. Ron and Melissa Sams have a daughter, Julia Sams.
Most importantly, Terry was a Christian.
May he rest in peace.
Revelation 21:4 ESV
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

We knew Terry . We knew he love his family. We knew he love to cook camp and enjoy life. We knew he love the Lord. We will miss his little red truck blowing as he pass the house just to say hello. Most of all we will miss him. Jim &Sandy Gibson
