Obituary of Edna Brewer Allen

Edna Brewer Allen, 75, of Sylva, formally of Lakeland, Florida, passed away Tuesday January 15, 2013. The daughter of the late John and May Brewer, she was born and raised in Manchester, England and moved to the United States after meeting and marrying her husband , a member of the United States Air Force, William “Jackie” Allen. She had been a resident of Jackson County the past 9 years. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis B. Allen and by her brother, Roy Brewer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William Jackie Allen 2 Sons- Jesse ( Roni ) Allen of Oklahoma and Lindsay ( Carolyn ) Allen of Atlanta 1 Daughter- Heidi ( Joe ) Crowe of Lakeland, Fla 4 Grandchildren- Alaina Barrow, Alyssa Bragg, Lance and Vicky Allen 2 Great Grandchildren- Tristan and Zoey Barrow 3 Brothers- Alan, David and Colin Brewer A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, January 18 at Cullowhee Baptist Church with the Revs. Jeffrey and Tanya Vickery officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 11:00 am at the Church prior to the service.
