Obituary of Irene Ambrosio Garcia

Irene Ambrosio Garcia, age 29 of Cullowhee, NC moved on to the afterlife to be with  Her Lord Jesus on Sunday, November 7, 2021, just shy of her 30th birthday at the Comprehensive Cancer Center in Winston Salem.

She was born November 12, 1991, in Oaxaca, Mexico. Irene was a member of the Iglesia Evangelica Eben-ezer church in Franklin, NC. Everywhere she went she radiated with her beautiful

Smile. Although she was enduring hospital visits, and hospitalizations, she made every effort to be at church praising before she transcended to heaven. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her husband and children. She loved her parents, nieces. and nephews very much. She was preceded in death by her infant son Isaias Misael Medel Ambrosio.

Irene is survived by her loving husband, Misael Medel Mendez, her children Miriam and Isaac, her brothers Jeremias, Ricardo, & Alex Ambrosio, and her sisters Deysi & Teresa; her loving father Emigdio Ambrosio & her mother, Maria. As for us as a church and family, we know that this is not the end for our beloved Irene, she will always live in our hearts, and she will rise as Jesus promised, “‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11:25-26

A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday November 09, 2021, at 7:30 pm at the Iglesia Evangelica Eben-ezer church in Franklin NC, to celebrate her life. The family will receive friends at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva NC on Saturday November 13, at 9:00am and will guide everyone in a procession to the gravesite to her resting place in Tuckasegee next to her baby.
