My Dad, Milas Ashe, and Uncle Charlie Ashe hunted with JB many years ago. I remember him from my childhood and he was a "gentle giant" to me back then when I was little. He always had a big smile and gentle eyes. My Dad has many fond memories of JB. Our family will keep you in our prayers. With sympathy, Michelle Ashe Dye, Milas Ashe & Beverly Ashe

I very well remember when J.B.
worked at the old F & P Supermarket and later at WCU. J. B. always had a
very pleasant personality and a great work ethic. Even through his illness, he was upbeat, and had a positive attitude. He will be dearly missed. May his family find peace during this time of bereavement.

JB was a good and true friend/colleague of mine at WCU. I called on him many times @ WCU's warehouse to have the Registrar's supplies ready for commencement, registration, iventory, etc. He knew everything in the warehouse and what division it belonged to. He always met me with a smile and a conversation. I could always count on him! He will be missed...for WCU has lost a friend and faithful employee. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God comfort you.

JB holds a special place in all my family's hearts. He has been a friend to our family for all my life and we will never forget how good and thoughtful he was to my grandparents - Os and Beulah Worley. There is a huge gap left since JB is no longer with us but we know where he is now - with his Lord and Savior. Just know Wilma and Janie, if there is anything we can do - please do not hesitate to call us. We love you both! Margaret, Nancy & Jerry
