Obituary of Wynona Ferrell Anderson

Wynona Ferrell Anderson, age 96, of Sylva died Friday, March, 29, 2013 at Med West Harris of Sylva, NC. Wynona was born May 27, 1916 in Durham, NC. She is the daughter of the late Exel O. and the late Gillie H. (Hopkins) Ferrell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dr. James Harold Anderson, and one son, Larry Kenneth Anderson. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce G. Whitlock (James L.) of Farmville, VA, 2 grandchildren, William Ferrell Whitlock and Ann Leigh Whitlock, both of Richmond, VA, as well as 2 great grandchildren, Joshua Anderson Whitlock and Corey Ann Whitlock, both of Carolina Beach, NC. Graveside services will be held in Fairview Gardens, Sylva on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 am. .
