Ruby - although I didn't personally know your dad, I guess you can say I did get a glimpse of him through you, and your beautiful sister Britney. And you know what, he done good! You girls are a testament to your parents, and a wonderful legacy. He definitely left the world a much better place by raising such fine daughters. I love your perpetuation of peace and harmony, breaking stereotypes, and being brave to speak your mind. Hugs to you & yours, and especially your sweet Mama. Love you, Ruby!!

Jim was always quick with a smile and was an eternal optimist. We will remember his love for his girls and his joy about his grandbabies! His time on earth was too short but he will live in his family through their stories and the love in their hearts. We will all miss him!

No matter what we did in life, you were right there cheering us on. Whatever it was, you were always so proud of us and poppa, we were so proud of you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be the woman I am today. You raised me to put others before myself, to love God, and to always hold my head high and be proud of who I am and where I came from. It's not fair that I had to say goodbye to you, but I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to do so. I love you poppa and I will do everything in my power to live everyday of the rest my life with the intent of making you proud.

You were behind me no matter what I did in life, a true hero and a friend. I will carry with me always everything you taught me, and I will keep my promise to you to take care of my mom and my sisters. I will tell Maddie and Turner all about you, and I will continue to live a life of love and a life for Jesus, just as you would have me to. I can never thank you enough for everything, and I cannot wait for the day that I get to see you again. I love you poppa!

I met Jim at church when Ruby introduced me to him, and her eyes lit up when she said "This my papa." I remember when he came to the house to help us figure out how to load up the bounce houses. His smile and kindness were infectious. What a loving, accepting, and kind man. I could tell from the moment I met him that he would go to the ends of the world and back for his daughters. The love of this family is such an inspiration. You are all in our thoughts and prayers!

I have only met Jim maybe a handful of times so I didnt know him well. But I have only heard great things about him. even though I didnt know him well i felt the need to write because I do however have the pleasure of knowing brittney and ruby. And I am honored they are my friends and I am so lucky to know them. Those girls have the biggests hearts and are such wonderful people, I truly admire them. They go out of their way to help people that need it and put others first. I hear Jim was the same way :) They have smiles and laughs that can't help but make you smile and laugh with them. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that they are just like their wonderful dad and that he raised them to be the amazing women that they are. I can see the wonderful things about them and I know that their daddy is so proud of them! He left this world knowing him and his wife have done an incredible job raising their girls to be such leaders and to live their lives in such a way that people feel so lucky and loved. I have no doubt in my mind that TJ is the same way. These 3 girls are a gift from God and a blessing to all the people they know. I know how much Jim meant to his whole family and know that he will be sorely missed. He was a great father husband and friend to many!!! My prayers are with you guys in this sad time and I pray that you find peace and comfort. I know you guys will keep the memories alive of sweet Jim and he will always be remembered for special he was. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you guys. I love you!!!!
