Obituary of Michael D. Mailman

Michael D. Mailman, Sr., age 66, of Sylva died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Med West Harris in Sylva, NC. Mr. Mailman was born February 15, 1947 in Johnstown, PA. He is the son of the late Roney and the late Helen (Yasnosky) Mailman. He served in the US Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Michael Graduated from the Hiram G. Andrews with a certificate in Major Appliance Repair. He is survived by his wife: Barbara(Polacek) Mailman ; Children Nicole, wife of Scott Corning and Michael David Jr. and wife Tara of Fl. Grandchildren Dustin Michael Mailman; Brandon Martin Mailman; Avari Fitzpatrick; and Rylie Nicole Mailman all of Fl. Brothers Roney Mailman of Fl. Daniel Mailman of Johnstown, William Mailman of Johnstown and a sister Marlene of NM. Services were held 10 AM Saturday June 8, 2013 in St. Gregory Catholic Church in Johnstown. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial in Johnstown with Military honors. Appalachian Funeral Services assisted the family with local arrangements. .
