Obituary of Charlie D. Rathbone

Charlie D. Rathbone, age 62, of Maggie Valley died Monday, June 17, 2013 in Waynesville, NC. Mr. Rathbone was born November 26, 1950 in Haywood County NC. He is the son of the late Raymond and the late Wilda (Setzer) Rathbone and was preceded by one brother Tom and a son Barry. He worked in furniture construction and attended the Church of God. He is survived by one Son Charlie D. Rathbone Jr of Taylorsville, NC and one daughter Patty Bowers of Sylva. Three Sisters Ann Ray of FL, Catherine Martin and Aletha Edwards if Anderson, SC. Six Brothers Albert of Clyde, Jr of Canton, Sid of Sylva, James of Maggie Valley, Larry of Clyde and Jake of Waynesville. Five grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday June 19, 2013 from 5pm until 7pm in the Sylva Church of God with the Rev. Tim Pressley officiating. The family will also receive friends during this time at the church.
