Obituary of Vieta Jamison

Vieta Ann Jamison, age 64, of Cashiers died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Highland Cashiers Hospital. Mrs. Jamison was born November 28, 1948. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Jewell Bentley Woodring. She is the wife of William Eldon Jamison. She was a retired CNA. She was a member of the Glenville Cashiers Rescue Squad Auxiliary. She loved music. She is survived by her mother, Jewell Woodring; her husband: William Eldon Jamison ; two sons, Scottie Jamison of Cullowhee and Richard Baumgarner of Cashiers; one daughter, Amanda Blanton of Marietta, GA; two sisters, Vera Smith of Candler, NC and Sharon Houston of Cullowhee; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Cashiers Church of God, at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 26 with Reverend Tommy Wrenn and Reverend Keith Ashe officiating. The family will receive friends at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva on Tuesday June 25 from 6 until 8 pm. Pallbearers will be Brian Smith, Charles Davis, John Bryson, Tristan, Lonnie, and Kevin Jamison. . .
