Obituary of Sherry Gunnels

Sherry Bryson Gunnels, age 47, of Cullowhee passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Sherry was born June 6, 1966 in Jackson County. She is the daughter of the late Willie Grover Bryson and Ada Lougene Chastain. She married Robin Gunnels. She was a member of Trout Creek Baptist Church. Sherry enjoyed reading, cooking, her dogs and 4 wheeling. She was predeceased by her father. She is survived by her mother; her husband: Robin Gunnels; two daughters, Samantha and husband Jared Crawford and Sabrina Gunnels; one sister, Sheila and husband David Nicholson; one brother, Larry and wife Kay Bryson, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday June 29, at 2:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva with Rev. Mark Styles officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 28 at Appalachian from 6 until 8 pm. Burial will be in the Promise Land Baptist Church cemetery. . .
