Obituary of Willie Lee Fowler

Willie Monteith Fowler, 82, of Cashiers, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday evening July 16, 2013 at the Fidelia Eckerd Living Center in Highlands. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Gladys Bryson Monteith. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother Ervin Monteith. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth Fowler 2 Sons- Gregg Fowler and his wife Tracy of Cashiers Mark Fowler of Cashiers 2 Grandchildren- Bentley and Blake Fowler 1 Brother- Edgar Monteith of Powdersville, SC 1 Sister- Sybil Dillard of Glenville, NC Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 20 at Cashiers Baptist Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Scotty Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Church. Burial will be in Hamburg Cemetery.
