Obituary of Shirley Pinaud

Shirley Pinaud, 76, of Sylva passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at her home in Sylva. Shirley was born March 11, 1937 in Kent County , MI. She is the daughter of the late George and the late Mildred (Haywood) Brocker and was preceded in death by her son Jerry Joseph Blunt and three brothers Don, Dale and Bud Brocker. She retired from Gem Mining and was a volunteer for meals on wheels, as well as at the Library, the Senior Citizen Center, at thrifts stores and at Mountain Trace Nursing Center. She is survived by one son Roger and wife Grace Blunt of Sylva, Three daughters Judith Ann and husband Jay Madill of Cullowhee, Sally Rose Rittenhouse and husband Brian of Venice, FL and Jo Ann Marie and husband Bruce Rittenhouse of Venice Fl. One sister Betty Annulis of Louisiana. 15 grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of her life will be held at 4:00PM Friday August 9, 2013 in the Sylva Presbyterian Church with the Dr. Ed Brenegar officiating.
