Obituary of Wilma Annice Pressley

Wilma (Annice) Adkins Pressley, age 71, of Glenville passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at Memorial Campus of Asheville, NC. Wilma was born January 8, 1942 in Tipton Co., TN. She is the daughter of the late John Winford and the late Stella (Cousar) Adkins. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Leonard Elton Pressley and two sisters; Willene Glenn and Paula Adkins. She is survived by three daughters; Roberta P. Jennings of Cashiers; Cindy Pressley and Nicky P. Boutee, both of Glenville. Two brothers; Nathan Adkins of Brighton, TN and Ronnie Adkins of Burlison, TN and three sisters; Melva Adkins and Yvonne Bryant both of Covington, TN; and Celia Emory of Burlison, TN. She is also survived by five grandchildren. Wilma enjoyed sewing, canning and being with her family as well as being a loved member of Hamburg Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 15th at Hamburg Baptist Church of Glenville with Nathan Johnson and Johnny Norris officiating. Burial will be in Hamburg Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, August 14th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the church.
