Obituary of Garland L. Extine

Garland Lenwood Extine, “GL”, 66, passed away peacefully Saturday September 14, 2013. Surviving family: 2 Sons- Bryan and Wesley Extine; Special friend: Patsy Extine; 3 sisters: Conchita and Tom Kelly of Webster, Juanita and and Donald Waldroup of Franklin, Gaynell and and Paul Britton of Ohio. Daughter in law: Cristen Extine and 3 granddaughters: Kendra, Jollee and Katie. Preceded in death by his parents,WG Extine and Lena Coville, two sisters and four brothers. Family will receive friends at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva, NC Tuesday September 17, 2013 from 6-8PM. Service at 8:00pm in the chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin Hicks, Jr. Graveside services are private. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Appalachian Funeral Services 165 Skyland Dr. Sylva, NC 28779.
