Obituary of Jimmie Parker Bryson

Jimmie Parker Bryson, of Cullowhee passed away Sunday morning, October 6, 2013 at her residence. Jimmie is a native of Jackson County, NC., and was the daughter of the late James and Vivian (Daves) Parker. She enjoyed raising her grandkids and great grandkids but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her husband and going hunting and fishing. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister Becky Symons in 2006. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Thomas O. Bryson 3 Daughters- Kay Bryson (Larry), Connie Watson and Pam Taylor all of Cullowhee 2 Sons- Russell Taylor (Terry) and Mark Taylor (Trina) both of Cullowhee 9 Grandchildren- Jamie, Stephanie, Steven, Chris, Brian, Travis, Megan, Cody and Zach 6 Great Grandchildren 1 Sister- Mary Lou Pressley (Bill) of Pisgah Forest Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 8 at Promise Land Baptist Church, Tuckasegee, NC with Rev. Larry Bryson and Rev. Ray Houston officiating. Family will receive friends Monday evening, October 7th from 6 til 8 pm at Appalachian Funeral Service, 165 Skyland Drive, Sylva, NC. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. .
