It's hard to believe Don is not with us anymore. I will certainly miss my conversations with him at Ingles, catching up on family, work and the latest events. He was so present in all conversations and made us feel like we were the most important person in those moments. His absence in the physical has created a great void in our community and we will miss him greatly! It's awesome to know he's on the other side doing whatever he can do to support us all here. Kathy, Dieter and I have been keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Sending warm hugs and lots of love your way!

What sorrow to part with such a friend! One who could share a smile, even when issues of health were pressing heavily upon him. We knew Don from his time in Bryson Ci ty, later to move with his family to Sylva, where he fai thfully coached Little League, encouraging his own son, Gus, and others in the sports arena.
Blessings to each and every survivor.

Have you ever wondered if there could ever be a world without trouble a place for you and me.A place where we can live without sorrow without fear where a man can live in peace and can live for endless years.Does it my friend seem too good to be true? A paradise earth with blue skies so blue. With animals and mankind living together in peace God's promises are true these things will never cease. The dead can awake from their sleep in the dust to a paradise earth it's a promise we can trust. Those that have died will wake up and see this is the way life was meant to be.Where there will be peace we know this to be true to a paradise earth that has been made new.Learn more@jw.org
