Obituary of Cora Lee Ray

Cora Lee Frizzell Ray, age 86, of Sylva died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Skyland Care Center in Sylva, NC. Cora was born August 9, 1927 in Jackson Co. NC. She is the daughter of the late Charlie Amos and the late Hestella (Frady) Frizzell and was preceded in death by her husband Horace Ray and one son Fred Thomas Seagle and one sister and three brothers. She retired from Food Services at WCU. She is survived by; two sons Gerald Seagle of Sylva and David Seagle of Morganton, NC. and One daughter, Betty Elliott of Cullowhee. Eight Grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive. A funeral service will be held Friday December 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Dewey Franklin officiating.
