Obituary of Ivey Merline Plemmons

Ivey Merline Plemmons, age 82, of Hanahan, SC died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Hospice of Charleston of Mt Pleasant, SC. Ivey was born May 8, 1931 in Sampson County, NC. She is the daughter of the late Fleet Lee and the late Minnie (Brewer) Sessoms and was preceded in death by a sister Sally Fleet Sessoms and her husband J.D. Plemmons. Merline loved to knit especially for her nieces and nephews. She is survived by two brothers Sherman Sessoms of Rock Hill, SC and Rudolph Sessoms of Fayetteville, NC along with several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday January 26, 2013 in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Charles Dean officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Gardens.
