Obituary of Robert E Henry

Robert E. Henry, 79, passed away Wednesday August 10, 2011 at Medwest Hospital in Sylva. A Native of Jackson County he was the son of the late Harry and Ethel Hill Henry. He was a Member of East Sylva Baptist Church and retired from the International Mineral and Chemical Company in 1986. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Pearison and Everett. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Marilyn Legrande Parris Henry 2 Sons- Larry Henry and his wife Debbie of Sylva Keith Henry and his wife Donna of Thomasville 1 Daughter- Deborah Ray and her husband Mike of Sylva 1 Brother- Danny Henry of Clyde 1 Sister- Willa Mae Mills of Waynesville 6 Grandsons- Jim and Jason Henry, Jeremy and Justin Ray, Joshua and Joseph Henry 3 Great Grandchildren- Travis, Jacob and Jaylen Henry Pallbearers will be Jason Henry, Harold Henry, Jeremy Ray, Travis Henry, Mark Haskell and Tim McCall Honorary Pallbearers are Joshua Henry, Joseph Henry, Jimmy Henry and Justin Ray Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday August 13, 2011 at East Sylva Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Dean officiating. The family will receive friends form 12:30 till 2:00 PM Prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
