Ms. Gladys, Keith and All, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember with such pleasure the many wonderful meals we had at "Clark's" restaurant. I know that wasn't the name, but we always called it that. It felt like home to us. Blessings.

I interviewed Lyle during research on families living in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I remember how lovely a man he was and the wonderful family he and Gladys gave birth to. Rest in peace, Lyle.

Our thought and prayers are with you, Family.
I was happy to meet many of you at the Clark reunion on Deep Creek. We missed you this year and thought maybe sousin Lyle was not well. He and my dad were 5-6 months apart in age. My fast, Cecil was born May 23, 1919. He passed on Oct.11, 2011. Still miss him so much as you will miss your loved one. So happy we have the hope of heaven. God bless you,

I had the priviledge of working at the Woodland Restaurant when I was a young teenager. I still have many memories of working there. Mr. and Mrs. Clark were always kind to the employees. Sending prayers to the family.
