Obituary of Carrie White

Carrie White, age 95, of Sylva died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Mountain Trace Nursing Center of Sylva, NC. Carrie was born November 25, 1918 in Madison County. She is the daughter of the late Carl and the late Belvie (Robinson) Peek and was preceded in death by her husband Hugh White and a daughter Jane McMahan and three brothers and one sister. She is survived by ; a son in law Robert Stan McMahan of Sylva and two grandchildren Bobby McMahan of Sylva and Hope Lewis of Myrtle Beach, SC and two Great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held Sunday March 30, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the East Sylva Baptist Church with the Rev. Reed Benson and Rev. Charles Dean officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Mars Hill Cemetery. . .
