Obituary of James Howard Hensley

James Howard Hensley, age 60, of Sylva died Friday, June 20, 2014 at home in Sylva. James was born May 4, 1954 in Jackson County, NC. He is the son of the late Duff and the late Louis (Hoyle) Hensley and was preceded in death by a sister Janet Mull. He loved fishing and hunting and hiking. He was a member of the Black Mountain Baptist Church. He is survived by a son Bobby Queen of Cullowhee and a daughter Tina Worley of Waynesville Two sisters Wanda Dills of Cullowhee and Effie Hensley of Mills River, NC and one brother Dayton Hensley of Waynesville. Four grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be held at Black Mountain Baptist Church Sunday June 22, 2014 at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Roger Stewman officiating.
