Obituary of Clifton Grady Frizzell

Clifton Grady Frizzell, age 84, of Long Beach, CA and formerly of Sylva died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Med West Harris in Sylva, NC. Clifton was born February 22, 1927 in Sylva, NC. He is the son of the late William Don and Selma Lewis Frizzell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Hayes Dean , Glen, George Sr., Gene and Clifford Frizzell , two sisters, Elsie Christine Frizzell and Fay Frizzell Watts. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a contractor in California and Arizona and a home builder and land developer in Sylva, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife: Marjorie(Hrabik) Frizzell of the home and one son Don Frizzell and wife Melinda of Long Brach, CA, one daughter Darlene DeYoung and husband Ed of Coeur D'Alene, ID. two brothers Darrell and wife Eula Mae Frizzell and Carroll and wife Donna Frizzell of Sylva; four sisters Bonnie Frizzell Deitz and Dot Frizzell Crowe of Sylva Helen Frizzell Bradshaw of Westminster, CA and Libby Frizzell Gay of Westerville, OH; Five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday September 6, 2011 in the Little Savannah Baptist Church with the Reverends Kent Loudermilk and Eddie Stillwell officiating. The Family will receive friends one hour prior the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Jared Deitz, Kevin Deitz, Gary Greene, Roger Frizzell, Ron Frizzell and Steve Watts. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Deitz and George Frizzell, Jr. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Long Beach, California.
