Obituary of Patricia "Pat" Estella Rogers

Patricia "Pat" Rogers, age 59, of Cullowhee, passed away in her home Thursday, October 2, 2014.Pat was born on March 24, 1955. A life-long resident of Jackson County, she is the daughter of the late William and Ella Mae Bridges Rogers of Cullowhee. In addition to her dad, she was predeceased by her grandmother, Emma Mosley and her step-grandmother, Cecelia Rogers. She is survived by her mother; three brothers, Tommy of Waynesville, Dennis of Savannah, Ga., and Stanley of Cullowhee; one sister, Cyritha West of Franklin; a special aunt, Joyce Mosley of Bryson City, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat loved working with computers, cooking, music, and talking. She was a member of the AME Zion Church in Cullowhee. Pat's funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Herbert Grant officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion AME Zion Church Cemetery in Cullowhee. . .
