Obituary of Leonard Andrew Hoyle

Leonard Hoyle age 72 of Sylva, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 11, 2014. He was the son of the late Walter and Elenore Hoyle. He was survived by his wife of 49 years Georgia Hoyle. He was a member of Johns-Creek Baptist Church. He loved gospel music along with hunting, fishing and gardening. In addition to his wife he is survived by nine children, Laura Carpenter, Stanley Hoyle, Kathy Autrey, Doris Flynn, Brenda Hoyle, Karen Hoyle, Becky Beck, Jerome Robinson and Bailey Ann Hoyle; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grand-children; three brothers Junior, Donald and Lester Hoyle and one sister Dot Queen. He is preceded in death by two brothers Griffin and Stanley Hoyle and one sister Velma Sherrell. Funeral Services will be held Friday November, 14, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Michael Queen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00pm two hours prior to the service. Grandsons and Son in- Laws will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in the Hog Knob Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to United Christian Ministries at 191 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779. Appalachian Funeral Services are in charge of arrangements. . .
