Obituary of Gary Alen Foss

Gary Alen Foss, age 67, of Franklin passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Foss was born July 21, 1947 in Miami, FL. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, April Foss. He was a veteran of the Unite States Army where he served in Vietnam from 1967-1969. He loved spending time with his family and he also enjoyed watching sports. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters Dawn Prevette of St. Paul, NC, Kimberly Foss of Franklin, NC and Jennifer Foss of Franklin, NC; one brother Howard Osterman of West Palm Beach, FL; four grandchildren Hailey, Alyssa, Jordan and Payton. He was preceded in death by one daughter Heather Foss. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Trinity Assembly of God at 1:00 PM in Franklin, NC. Appalachian Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
