We were saddened to hear about the home-going of this precious dear lady and friend. She was a wonderful person in our lives. We will miss her greatly. I have many fond memories of her and all of you the family, from my childhood until now. We know she's in a better place and have the Blessed Promise we can be reunited with her again in Heaven. I have gone to Skyland for years on Fridays to see Mrs. Pearl. She was a precious lady and I will miss her. She always gave me a kiss on the forehead and told me she loved me. When I went to see her last Friday, she seemed so tired and always talked about going home. I pray for the love ones she left behind but Heaven is a brighter place with Mrs. Pearl there.

I grew up at Pearl and Vaughn's house. All you kids were as close as family. I've eaten many a meal at your table. I hate the loss you are feeling but am glad Pearl is feeling well and healthy again. We love all of you and will do anything we can to help you.
