Obituary of James Allison Bacot

James Allison Bacot, Jr., 65, of Whittier, passed away Tuesday January 20, 2015. A native of Chatham County, NC, he was the son of the late James Allison Bacot Sr. and Genevieve Alexander. James had been a resident of Jackson County for the past few years; he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his step father William Alexander, sisters; Jacky Jones, Elaine Lanning and Alama Dale Odom and by his granddaughters Alanna Wilkes and Kimber Miles. He is survived by 5 Daughters- Little Darline, Tina Stalnaker, Jamie Bacot, Elizabeth Bacot and Brandi Miles 5 Sons- Mark Bacot, Larry Stump, Chris Bacot, Billy Bacot and Rodney Grandchildren- Paige Stalnaker, Larry Daune Stalnaker, Zabayon George, David Chiltoskie Jr., Danita Chiltoskie, Nevaeh Wilkes, Allison Wilkes, Bailey Mae Slanaker, Wesley Liam Astry, Christopher and Colt Miles. 2 Sisters- Brenda Swanner and Peggy Autry A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday January 25 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Mark Sale officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon January 24 at the Funeral Home .
