Obituary of Mary Magaleen Kelley

Mary Magaleen Kelley, age 91, of Cullowhee died Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Mary was born May 30, 1923 in Coffee County, Alabama. She is the daughter of the late Louis and the late Lovie Viola (Smith) Powell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Roudiez Kelley, a son, Edward Louis Kelley and 3 sisters Christine Clyatt, Zelma O'Neil and Gertrude Cale. Mary was a former telephone operator for the Florida Telephone Company. She is survived by a daughter, Pam and husband, Dennis, Hull of Cullowhee; grandchildren Kane and Raymond Kelley and Brett and Adam Hull; a great granddaughter, Peyton Hull; a sister, Celety Kinzey; a brother M L. Faircloth; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 25 at Sugar Creek Baptist Church, Sugar Creek Road, Cullowhee, NC with Rev. Rick Faircloth, Rev. Steve Webb, and Rev Robert Stiles officiating. Burial will be in Balsam Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, on Caney Fork. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Sugar Creek Baptist Church, Sugar Creek Road, Cullowhee, NC. .
