I had the blessing of serving with Hattie Hilda on the Hospital Chaplaincy Committee for 9 years. I was blessed to know her and follow her example of serving others. As a person of faith, I'm confident that when she arrived in Heaven, she heard our Lord say: "well done good and faithful servant."

A Gracious Lady, a Great Lady and yes, "A Life well Lived!" She earned and had my deepest respect. To all the Family, I send my sincere condolences and sympathy. From a former Mead employee 1964-1974.

Although I did not know her well, I have admired her for years and think of her as one of the pioneers of this area. I met her through our mutual friend Lucille Reed and she came with her to my retirement dinner. Bob and I send sincere sympathy to all the family. You can be proud of a life well lived!

“Hattie Hilda”, that was all one needed to say. In my mind, I can still hear her voice and see the gaze of her eyes. My Dad commented once, “If Hattie Hilda had been there at Creation, it would have only taken four days and folks would still be enjoying a long weekend.” ... will miss you.

So sorry to read of Hattie Hilda's passing. While Mother was in rehab at Mtn Trace in the fall of 2013 Hattie Hilda was also there. We visited with her often and I loved her sense of humor. She got to go home before Mother was released and Mother missed her so. She was a sweet lady and I loved listening to her and Mother reminisce about days gone by. My condolences to her loved ones.
