God saw that Dad was getting tired and the cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him and whispered come with me. With tearful hearts we watched him fade away. Although we loved him dearly we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, and hard working hands was laid to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. You will be missed dearly as a Dad, a father-in-law, and Papaw. We will never ever forget you. We will always love you.

Terry, Debby, Jeannie, and Mickey I'm so sorry to hear about your dad passing away. I will always remember our family get togethers when your family would travel to NY for vacation or we would travel to where you lived. We had some good times together. Keep his memory with you forever. Hugs to you all from Central NY.

Les came from a humble background in upper state New York. At age 17 this man started serving his country in the US Air Force and continued for 20 years retiring with an honorable discharge. This Korean and Vietnam veteran served this country proud. By the way, Proud should have been his middle name. Stand his ground and never waver, never complain is what i saw of this man. Guess what, his three girls picked up on these fine qualities. I know, i married one of them. Lester Snyder had an inner strength that carried on through out his life. He did not let life get him down. Lesters sense of humor defined who he was. He never met a stranger and he told you like it was. He loved Harley's, NASCAR,classic cars and the paint that went on those cars. Do it right or do not do it at all. "It is all in the preparation and detail". Rest Well Les.
