Obituary of Ruby Mae Freeman

Ruby Taylor Freeman, 89, of Cullowhee, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday September 15, 2015. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late Henry and Polly Ann Adams Taylor. She loved her flowers and was a faithful and loyal member of the Assembly of God Church in Sylva. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands Harley Fox and James Freeman, her daughter Karen Fox, 7 Brothers: Claude, Howard, Logan, Richard, Haven, Clifton and JM, 2 sisters: Laura Pressley and Annie Clyde Saunders ,2 special nieces: Shirley Tilson and Lilly Scussel. She is survived by one sister in law Oma Taylor of Bryson City And numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday September 19 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Terry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery on Pressley Creek. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.
