Obituary of Elizabeth Dawn Nicholson

Elizabeth Dawn Nicholson, 35, died at home on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. A lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was born June 7, 1980. She is the daughter of Lester and Rhonda Queen. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Dawn loved kids, books, and spending time with family. She also loved her church and her church family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arnold and Ramona Queen. She is survived by her husband, Travis Lee and daughter Kasyn Nicholson; twin sister Denise Stephens; brother Matthew Queen; her parents; father-in-law Randy Nicholson; mother-in-law Angie Nicholson; brother-in-law Derrick Nicholson; grandparents Ronnie and Nell Parris; grandparents-in-law Charles and Nell Fisher, and Bobbie and Delores Nicholson. She is also survived by various cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6pm-9pm on Saturday September 19th, 2015 at Appalachian Funeral Services. The funeral will be held at 3pm on Sunday September 20th, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the New Hope Church Cemetery.
