I pray for comfort for the family of Mr. Wood. When I lived in Whittier for part of each year, I would attend Whittier Church of God and would enjoy the worship services there and also seeing the various neighbors that lived in our area on Union Hill Road. I attended Sunday classes taught by Mrs. Wood and enjoyed the fellowship of the people there. May God give comfort to this dear family.

Dear Family,
I loved Earl. He was always a joy and blessing when he came to the post office. He was a gentle soul. What a blessing his life has been to so many.

May God's blessings be with the family of Earl Wood. Earl was a good man, father and most of all a good Christian. It won't be long before we will all meet again as the coming of the Lord is close at hand.

Pa was the greatest man I have ever met. He is the best example of what a real Christian should be. I love him, and I will miss him, but I know that he's in a much better place! I can only imagine what kind of celebration he's having in heaven right now!

I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.
When we are grieving the loss of a loved one, we can find comfort from the scriptures. I found a couple scriptures at jw.org.
Psalm 55:22 promises that God will sustain us if we just throw our burdens on him. So we need to remember to pray.
I look forward to seeing Earl in the resurrection when he will again be enjoying friends/family. (John 5:28,29).
I hope these scriptures bring you as much comfort as they bring me.
