Obituary of Robert Owen Phillips

Robert Philliips age, 75 of Stone Mountain, GA passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Born in Taft, CA to the late John and Lwellyn Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Phillips. Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. He had a passion for fishing and also loved to watch baseball. In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Michael Phillips of Astoria, NY, Bryan Phillips and his wife Pamela of Peachtree City, GA and Kimberley Adkins and her husband Jason of Tucker, GA; three grandchildren Owen, Madilyn and Lyla. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Service with Rev. Cory Boone officiating. Burial will follow the service at Locust Field Baptist Church cemetery. Appalachian Funeral Services are in charge of arrangements.
