Obituary of David William Hoyle

Rev.David William Hoyle, 71, of Cullowhee, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday December 22, 2015. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Glenn and Edith Watson Hoyle. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and was a Baptist Preacher who pastored several Churches in both Jackson and Swain Counties. David was truly devoted to preaching The Lords Word. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother James Hoyle and by 2 twin sisters. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Melba Keener Hoyle Daughter- Kristie (Kevin) Wike Granddaughters- Laci (Christopher) Nations, Hannah Wike, Madilyn Wike and Hayla Wike Great Granddaughter- Emma Grace Nations 1 Sister- Eloise (Harold) Frady And several nieces and nephews also survive Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday December 26 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Max Cochran, Lowell York and Steve Webb officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon until 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens. . .
