Obituary of Kathryn Ann Roberts

Kathryn Ann Roberts, 71, of Cullowhee, NC died unexpectedly on December 20, 2015. "Kitty" Roberts, daughter of Ray Gene and Catherine Arnett, suffered a massive stroke at her home and passed away hours later at Mission Health Hospital in Asheville, NC. Kitty was born in Palestine, TX on May 22, 1944 and spent the majority of her working years at Spenco Medical Corporation in Waco, TX. Kitty is survived by her sons Timothy and Todd Roberts, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Kitty had just moved to NC in October 2015 with her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Jennifer Roberts. She spent the last months of her life enjoying hiking, exploring her beautiful new surroundings, and befriending new neighbors. She had recently expressed, to her loved ones, that she had been experiencing the happiest days of her life, and was looking forward to the day when Gary Maas, the love of her life, would retire and join her in NC. Kitty was a faith filled, compassionate friend, mother, and companion who brought joy, fun, and laughter into the lives of everyone she knew, and will be greatly missed.
