Obituary of Roy Daniel Cable

Rev. Roy Daniel Cable, 76, left this world on December 25, 2015. A native of Haywood County, NC, he was the son of George Patterson and Elva Crisp Cable. He gave his life to pastoring churches in NC and GA and spreading the love of Christ. He studied at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Fruitland Bible Baptist College. He was the former pastor and a member of Jackson Line Baptist Church in Bryson City, NC. He is survived by his son, Larry "Bo" Cable (Nikki) and 3 grandchildren, Step-daughter, Dee Decker (Michael) and granddaughter. Also, his sister, Clara Metcalf of Canton, brother Wiley (Aileta) Cable of Canton, Fred Cable of Bryson City, sisters-in-law, Javena Cable, Dorothy Cable and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Glenda Cable, siblings, Patsy Cable Swanger, Evan, Charles, Neil, Alfred "Tommy", Robert "Bobby", and Ben Cable.
