Obituary of Betty Frances Freeman
Betty Frances Freeman, age 80, of Hayesville died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Harris Regional Hospital of Sylva , 28779. Mrs. Freeman was born July 7, 1935 in Hory County, SC. She is the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Debbie Mae (Phipps) Phipps. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Elias Freeman, and an infant daughter, Betty Gail Freeman.
She is survived by daughters, Linnie Gore, Pam Jones, Eva Brittner, Rita Cutshaw, Dena May, Lisa Freeman; a son, Lynn Parker; 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was a member of Rowlands Creek Baptist Church in Topton. She worked as a seamstress for most of her life.
A private service will be held at a later date.
