Obituary of Linda Neal

Linda Bumgarner Neal, age 65, of Cullowhee died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Med west Harris of Sylva, NC. Linda was born December 31, 1945 in Jackson County. She is the daughter of the late James and Marie (Bryson) Bumgarner and her husband Jerry Phillip Neal who died in 1995, and was also preceded in death by one sister Wanda Buchanan. She worked as a nursing Assistant for many years in Michigan and after returning to Cullowhee she worked at WCU. She loved to Read and play Scrabble. She was a member of the Black Mountain Baptist Church. She is survived by a son Jerry Lee Neal of La Vista, NE and a daughter Dawn Radel of Tert, Australia. Three Brothers Carl Bumgarner of Sylva, Jim Ed and Marvin Bumgarner of Cullowhee and Two sisters Brenda Extine of Cullowhee and Sandra Wood of Sylva. Four grandchildren The Family will receive friends from 6:00 until8:00 PM Thursday December 1, 2011at the funeral home. A funeral service will be Friday December 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Black Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Stewman Eddie Stillwell Larry Bryson and Jason Broom officiating.
