Obituary of Ada C Irby

Ada C. Irby, age 79, of Whittier died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Med West Harris in Sylva, NC. Mrs. Irby was born September 11, 1932 in Ely, NV. She is the daughter of the late Michael and Ida (Morgan) Krumpotic. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard L. Irby. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Nantahala Outdoor Center, the Smoky Mountain Railroad in both Dillsboro and Bryson City, and Harrah's Casino in Cherokee. She was a member of the local Red Hat Society and enjoyed their meetings. She was a member of the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by two sons: Mike Irby of Whittier, NC, and Richard S. and Lisa Irby of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a granddaughter, Kristina; a grandson, Eric, and three great-grandchildren, Riley, Andrea, and Courtney.
