Obituary of Pearl Lusk

Pearl Franks Bryson Lusk, 81, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at a local nursing home. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late Bert and Flora Mae Franks. She was a member of Hamburg Baptist Church. She loved going to Church and she loved to sing. One of her passions was cooking and fixing something for everyone to eat. What she enjoyed the most though was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two husbands; Carl Bryson and Duane Lusk and by one grandson James Allen Leopard. Pearl is survived by six children; Danny Bryson and wife Lin, James Bryson Jr and girlfriend Barbara Gabriel, Linda Leopard, Randy Bryson, Hubert Bryson and wife Peggy and Emma Bryson; four step-children James Robert Bryson and wife Ellen, Charles Leonard Bryson, Leola Hunter and husband Grover and Freda Rogers and husband Richard. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hamburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Madden officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Hamburg Cemetery Appalachian Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
