Obituary of Emily Ann Shook

Emily Ann Shook, 15, went home to be with The Lord, Monday morning, February 15, 2016 at her home in Sylva. Emily was born July 10, 2000 in Jackson County, NC. She touched a lot of lives in her 15 years with her beautiful smile. She was her families precious Angel. She was preceded in death by her great grandmothers Wanda Campbell and Lemir Mills. She is survived by her parents Kevin and Gayle (Campbell) Shook; one brother, Devin Shook and wife Courtney of Sylva; two sisters, Heather Steele and husband Justin of Sylva; Haley Shook of Cullowhee; Maternal grandmother, Nora Campbell of Canton and paternal grandparents Diane and Bob Shook of Sylva. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday February 20 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday evening, February 19th at Appalachian Funeral Home.
